Can I really give this Harmony away to anyone if I’m trying to share the good news about Jesus?
Yes, the Gospel itself is free, and sharing it should also be free. But please share the link to the website for free downloads instead of directly attaching the Harmony file. Because of scammers, many people are wary of clicking on attachments, and many email filters will misidentify attachments as spam. The website will always have the latest updated editions and will enable us to keep count of how many copies are being distributed. Please share this link: LifeOfChristResources.com.
Can this PDF file be used on any device?
PDFs can be used on most Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, and Cellphones, but if the screen on a device is too small, the font on this file will need to be zoomed in. It’s primarily designed for tablets or larger screens and is trickier to use on smaller cellphone screens. Some eReader devices may have touchscreen capabilities that work with the digital links, but we haven’t tested them so we can’t make any guarantees.
Is this available in formats other than a PDF?
The only format publicly available for this file is a PDF.
Will you be releasing this Harmony in other Bible translations?
The first edition required over 1000 hours to complete! Subsequent translations have taken approximately 500 hours each to compile and format. If the demand is there, other translations may be undertaken. The translations currently offered are widely considered the most accurate and literal English translations.
We are also seeking qualified foreign-language ministers or missionaries to complete this project in other languages beyond English, so if you know of anyone, please refer them.
Are there other resources forthcoming?
Some further projects are being considered, including a Chronological New Testament. This would include both the parallel-column and single-narrative gospel formats found in The Life of Christ in Living Color Harmony, as well as Acts-Revelation in the order in which they were written, with the same kind of extensively detailed outline that’s included in the Harmony.
If there is a demonstrable demand for an audiobook edition of the Harmony, that will be considered.
Additional Christian books are also in progress. Please pray for the Lord’s help for their completion!
Will there be new updates to the Harmony?
The Harmony will be periodically updated as improvements are integrated into it, and the latest editions will be made available exclusively on this website.
What are donations used for?
If you decide to donate, thank you for your generosity. Funds received as donations are intended for direct use in the further promotion of this Gospel Project. The goal is to market and advertise it in ways and in places where it might be seen by unbelievers as well as believers, in order to reach those who do not yet know Christ, and to edify Christians. As a ministry willingly in submission to the authority of the Elders of our local Bible-believing Church, we maintain financial transparency and accountability to their third-party objective analysis. We will open the financial records of this ministry for their auditing and oversight at any time.
Can I purchase a hard copy of this Harmony?
If the demand presents itself, and the funding becomes sufficient, a hard-copy option might be pursued so that it could be ordered like any other book. Of course, it wouldn’t have the links and functionality of the digital edition, but we know from years of experience that it’s really nice to hold it in your hands when reading it.
For now, Printer-friendly editions are available for free download on the website, with fewer pages than the digital editions. One church has already printed over 100 of them for use in Bible Studies! It does use a lot of colored ink, but the average cost to print your own copy at home on a laser printer is only about $10.
